The Pendulum is established globally as an essential part
of risk management policies in the following areas and is the only
UK court law recognised method of testing slip resistance:

Statistics below released from the HSE suggests
once a floor meets or exceeds 36 + on the pendulum the likelihood
of slipping dramatically reduces. (PTV - Pendulum Test Value).

test involve?
- Test the floor wet as found in three directions.
- Test the floor wet after cleaning in three directions
- If need be apply anti slip treatment in increments of 10 minutes.
- Retest and reapply anti slip treatment until 36+ is recorded
on the Pendulum.(low risk)
- A comprehensive report is complied following the assessment
showing - Site Tested, Method Used, Results Obtained (PTV) and
whether the floor is suitable for purpose.
- This report indicates that you are meeting your responsibilities
to provide a safer environment and provides a paper trial to
illustrate the companys commitment to due diligence.
